An original vase inspired by the Disney Studios musical masterpiece "Fantasia" (1940). Featuring a stunning vase in the "Flower Ballet" pattern designed by iconic Disney Studio artist, Gyo Fujikawa. The dishware was released in 1940 by well known American ceramic company Vernon Kilns, and bares their stamp and copyright on the bottom of the plate. Vernon Kilns utilized the talents of the Disney Studio artists to ensure their dishware captured the immaculate beauty of the film. Measuring 12" in diameter and 2" deep, the vase is in very good condition with some minor fading and discoloration, small spots of staining on the interior and underside, and a crack running from the underside of the rim through the base that does not appear to impact the stability of the piece.
