A Fantasia plate titled "Autumn Ballet" created by Vernon Kilns in 1940. Featuring a lovely and elegant flower pattern based on the Walt Disney studios brilliant musical film "Fantasia" (1940), the plate was designed by studio artist Gyo Fujikawa. The dishware was released by well known American ceramic company Vernon Kilns, and bares their stamp and copyright on the bottom of the plate. Vernon Kilns utilized the talents of Disney's studio artists to ensure their dish ware captured the beauty of the film. Measuring 9.5" in diameter and 1" thick, the plate is in very good condition with some tape residue from masking tape being used to protect the plate with paper. There is also some line wear to the imagery that could be printing flaws. At this time, we have a few of these plates, each one is shown in the images, we will attempt to remove the sold ones as they are claimed.
