A model cel from the Nepenthe Studios animated cult classic "Watership Down" (1978). Featuring Campion, Hazel, Chervil, and General Woundwort, the hand-painted reference cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The model cel is a reference tool used by animators and the ink and paint department to ensure character consistency. This color model was specifically used for the character coloring during the scene where Hazel and Woundwort are negotiating. Measuring 10.5”x13” overall, with the character image measuring 3.75”x7”, the model cel is in very good condition with minor edge and corner wear, stains around the right edge of the cel, and pin hole in the center of the top edge. .
