An original production cel from the Warner Bros. Studios animated short Hollywood Steps Out (1941). Featuring a hilarious caricature of Johnny Weissmuller, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The cel has been paired with a custom painted reproduction background and is accompanied by the matching background layout drawing. Measuring 8"x5" overall, and with a character image measuring 7.5"x4.25", the cel is in good condition with some rippling to edges of the trimmed cel and small spots of paint wear.
